Over the final 4 days

4days left for Satolela papa & Satori in Japan After the rainy season's over, we have extremely hot days everyday in Tokyo.  Satori doesn't want to go out for a walk. Satolela papa goes and practices with his martial arts teacher everyday.  Thanks to his effort, he has got some Shihan Menjo (Grand Master Certificate). But NOT YET.  This is just a stepping-off point.  The hard part is still to come.  Sometimes he tries to spend time with us. :(   One day, Satolela papa and I dropped by the Hibiya Park on our way back home from the American Embassy and the Metropolitan Police Department.    This is very unique picture, isn't it?.  When I showed this to him, Satolela papa said,   'Gee, somehow look like my brother! ' Some other day, we visited the Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa city.   Satori's puppy hood friends were here to see her for the last chance. Luckily while we walked in the park, we encountered those beaut

Living present (now)

"Dogs(animals) live present. So they do their best each moment. " That the word that Cesar Millan often mentions in his TV show. I often told myself this while my mom was ill in bed till she passed away. I couldn't believe when I was notified that she had a gallbladder cancer. Because my mom often said that our entire family members were not be the candidates who were suffered from cancer. Satolela papa really cared about me who was unstable. Then one day, the Cesar's word in the TV show which wasn't supposed to hear at the first time caught my mind.  "To live present" Since I started feeling like that, my mind had become calm and considered as: "What should I do Now ?" "What are the matters I must think about Now ?" So six months has already passed since my mom passed away. Now.... Satolela papa and I are moving on to the next step, which we are leaving Japan. It was incredibly hot this summer in Tokyo. They were sitting next each other and waiting for autumn to come. Satori was hot!! Even Leila was hot, too!! But.... Finally autumn has come.   The beautiful view of Cosmos flowers  at the Showa-kinen Park   Visiting Nasu-area silence Turning red and yellow  In a ropeway gondola Enjoying dinner at a pension (What is 'pension'? For reference) http://izu-sakuraya.jp/plj-e/index.htm   The pension in daytime The pension we stayed at night                                                                 I loved the atmosphere at night because the pension is the only house around the area.   The house stood out in the darkness.   And I love the front door. I thought it would be nice to have the kind of door in the picture above for our house in USA. I dropped a gentle hint about the door to Satolela papa, but he neither sai

After Satolela papa's parents left, Satolela papa and I thought we had such productive days with his parents, indeed. Besides we found out we noticed something new about them. In the case of me: When we went to Kyoto, we dropped by a hotel for lunch. We sat in the chairs at the lounge, and watching a girl who worn a pretty Japanese kimono was been taken a picture in the yard of the hotel. There were two mute swans swimming in the pond. Mama Susan said quietly, "I want mute swans like those." Suddenly I, whom Satolela papa calls "city girl" , felt like slapping my cheek to wake me up and shouted in my mind as I was relaxing and watching the swan swimming. "WHAT?" and tried to listen to carefully what she said again. Speaking of wanting the swans, a few days ago, she said that she wanted to keep peacocks , especially a white one in their yard. "Joking.....right?" When I heard of it at the first time, generally

On March 19th, Satolela papa's parents, Papa Gordon & Mama Susan , visited us in Tokyo. It was the first time for them to come to Japan. Or I could say they were the first persons of Satolela papa's family, even relatives. I am sure they would not have visited in Japan if we were not here. Our fur girls also had their first experience. Because we planned to take Papa Gordon & Mama Susan to Kyoto. So we had to keep them somewhere for one night. But luckily our dog's family doctor offered the service to keep them at their clinic. Papa Gordon & Mama Susan have animals at their house, so they couldn't stay long. They were only 7 days in Japan. Papa Gordon & Mama Susan stayed at our house. Papa Gordon is as tall as Satolela papa. So I was worried about him banging his head against a transom in our house. Actually it seemed happen a couple times when he was here :-< 1. First Experiences At a restaurant An appetite@ "Ukai Toriyam
